Texas Trio
I told Hal I wanted a quiet anniversary (no rats in Mexico, no food poisoning in San Diego, etc)
so we spent a fantastic weekend in McCall: my Mini-Lake Tahoe.
You can probably just see how tired and beat up I look.
I think I spent over 5 hours in appointments the day before (no, not waiting, seriously just doctors appointments).
We stayed on the lake and it couldn't have been more perfect!
A little out of order--one of our moves to California:
Right after we moved to Canada (and prego with Kya)
It's been a good journey. It's crazy to think of everything we've done, accomplished, and gone through. I'm glad it was all with Hal.
I have to laugh - only 8 years into it and he has to help me put a pony tail in my hair, file the nails on my good hand, drive me to my appointments, and put on a dang bra. You'd think I was 95 already! Maybe I'm just prepping him!
Ya, I love that it was all with Hal. Still best friends and better...

Cute post and CONGRATULATIONS! I love the part about how Hal has to help you file the nails of your good hand. Haha! Hope that "bad" hand is getting better.
The kids graduated on Monday and we had our end-of-the-year picnic today. Ms. Michel was crying. (And I heard Ms. Marcia was crying in her class as well.) Missed you and Kya!
Lots of changes happening at RLP - thus all the crying. We'll have to chat about that sometime.
You guys are the cutest. We miss you! We need to plan on somehow doing something together sometime!

Now i probably will never find a job... the company will do a search for me ... find that hideous picture of me... and without complete hesitation omit me from even the remote possibility of a phone interview...
